*Record scratch* Yep, that’s me, working on my first ever garment design.

There I am, sitting along the Seine in Paris, unaware that COVID would force me to leave my dear France and return back to the US in a few short months.

I had big plans of staying in France and becoming a citizen, and when COVID came to interrupt those big plans, it meant I had 6 months of living in my childhood home, working on Plan B. In those 6 months of confinement I threw myself into knitting, exploring colorwork, garment design, and eventually yarn dyeing as well. I knitted my Pop Art Cardigan that launched my presence in the maker community and I fell deeply in love with knitting as a creative passion.

Now Plan B is in full swing – I live in Chicago where I am getting my masters in social work and I am pursuing my dream job as clinical therapist for children with GI disorders. I’ve grown my knitting hobby from a passion into an obsession and it is a prevailing source of happiness in my life. Colorwork and creative garment design has become my thing and I am so excited to be able to share it with you.
